Mamata extends her love and blessings to all children on the occasion of Children's Day

Kolkata, Nov 14 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday extended her love and blessings to all children on the occasion of Children's Day.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Ms Banerjee said, ' My love and blessings to all children on the occasion of #ChildrensDay. '

' From #ShishuSathi to #SabujShree, we have several schemes for the welfare of children. They are the future of our society. We must always bring a smile on their faces, ' she added.

Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is held on November 14 every year as a tribute to India's First Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
