Mamata conveys profound  sadness to hear Amitabh Bachchan testing COVID Positive

Kolkata, Jul 12 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday conveyed her profound sadness to hear the news of Amitabh Bachchan testing COVID Positive.

Taking to his twitter handle, Ms Banerjee said, " Extremely saddened to hear the news of Shri #AmitabhBachchan Ji testing COVID Positive. "

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bacchan is stable with mild symptoms and currently admitted in the isolation unit at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan, who were on Saturday admitted to a city hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, have undergone rapid antigen testing.
