Kolkata, Jul 21 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today called for ouster of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central government in 2019 Parliament elections, claiming the BJP was losing the ground in rapidity for its alleged anti-people policies.
Addressing a massive rally to mark the 25th year of Shahid Diwas, the TMC rally virtually turned into an anti-BJP meeting and Ms Banerjee spelled out party strategies how and when to oust the saffron brigade from the country.
Ms Banerjee, who is also chairperson of TMC, announced to hold a massive rally at specious Brigade Parade Ground on January 19, 2019 in which all like minded leaders of proposed Federal Front would be invited. She also announced party programmes from this month onward, which would be gradually intensified from August and final preparations would be started from November, aiming to oust the BJP led government at the Centre.
She said the BJP was losing its ground rapidly and in 2019 poll the party would face defeat. She said the figure of 325 in Parliament on Friday was based on 2014 poll and the figure would be reduced even less 100 in next year polls.
She said the allies of NDA were deserting BJP, and TDP and even Shiv Sena did not vote in motion against the ruling party. Ms Banerjee claimed that the AIADMK would have voted against BJP if J Jayalalitha were there and in Tamil Nadu the ruling party would face defeat in next election. She also listed how the BJP was rapidly losing foothold in MP, UP, Rajastan, Gujarat and other states.
She said the BJP used money power in Tripura to win votes and this method was being applied in Bengal but the people from Ma Mati Manus would give fitting reply.
