Mallikarjun Kharge appointed AICC Gen Secy incharge Maharashtra in place of Mohan Prakash

New Delhi, June 22 (UNI) Continuing the process of organisational reshuffle within the Congress, party president Rahul Gandhi on Friday appointed senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge as the AICC general secretary incharge for Maharashtra in place of Mohan Prakash.
Mr Gandhi also announced appointment of three AICC secretaries for Maharashtra .
According to AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot,'Congress president Rahul Gandhi has appointed Mr Malikarjun Kharge as AICC General secretary incharge for Maharashtra .
The party appreciates the hard work and contribution of Mr Mohan Prakash, who will stepping down from his responsibility as Genertal secretary, AICC incharge of Maharashtra.'
'Mr Sonal Patel from Gujarat, Ashish Dua from Haryana and Mr Sampat Kumar from Telangana have been appointed as secretaries, AICC of Maharashtra with immediate effect,' Mr Gehlot said.
Mr Gandhi has also appointed Mahendra Joshi and J D Seelam as the secretary , AICC and Shashi Kanta Sharma as the joint secretary, AICC attached with General secretary incharge organisation , Mr Gehlot said.
The Congress president has also appointed Christopher Tilak from Tamil Nadu and C D Meyappan from Tamil Nadu as AICC secretaries for Andhra Pradesh with imemdiate effect, Mr Gehlot said.
