Sabarimala, Jan 20 (UNI) Among the foreign currencies donated at the Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala by devotees, Malaysian Ringgit is ahead over other foreign currencies such as Singapore and US dollars.
More than one-and-half crore of Ringitt was from Tamil Nadu. This year currencies from other countries such as Poland (Zloty), Malawi (kwacha) and Ghana (cedi) also found its place in the donation box.
Currencies of Egypt, Myanmar, South Africa, Vietnam and Korea also found in varying amounts in the donation box.
