Malayali bodyguard Nayeem Moosa becomes TN CM Joseph Vijay’s trusted man in shadows

Malappuram, May 11 (UNI) As Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay moves through massive political rallies, tightly packed campaign venues, and high-profile public events, one man is almost always seen standing close beside him — Malayali security professional Nayeem Moosa, who has now become a familiar face among the actor-turned-politician’s supporters.
Known for quietly managing security operations around Vijay during public appearances, Moosa has reportedly emerged as the Chief Minister’s one of the most trusted security aides since the latter’s transition from cinema into active politics.
From election campaigns and political conferences to private functions and public meetings, his presence alongside Vijay has become increasingly noticeable in recent years.
According to sources familiar with the arrangements, Moosa is regarded not merely as a personal bodyguard but as a highly experienced security strategist with expertise in VIP protection, crowd-risk management, movement coordination, and emergency-response planning during large public gatherings.
The association between Vijay and Moosa is believed to have deepened during the actor’s political rise in Tamil Nadu. Security and crowd-control responsibilities for several major political programmes were reportedly entrusted to Moosa and his team, including large-scale campaign events attended by huge crowds across the state.
One of the key moments said to have strengthened Vijay’s confidence in the Malayali security expert came during the party’s major political conference at Vikravandi. The handling of massive crowds and the overall security coordination at the event reportedly earned Moosa considerable appreciation within Vijay’s camp.
Another incident frequently mentioned by those close to the security team relates to the shooting of one of Vijay’s films in Kerala. During the event, overwhelming crowds reportedly gathered around the actor, creating tense moments for the security personnel. Moosa and his team are said to have handled the situation efficiently and escorted Vijay safely through the crowd, further reinforcing the actor’s trust in him.
Originally from Mahe, Nayeem Moosa developed an early interest in bodybuilding and physical fitness before moving abroad in search of work opportunities. He initially worked in a private company in Dubai before gradually entering the professional security sector.
In 2008, Moosa founded a private security and event-management company in Dubai under the name “Gentur Security Services.” What reportedly started as a modest venture later expanded into a recognised security network serving celebrities, business leaders, and VIP guests across the Gulf region.
Over the years, the company is said to have coordinated security and event logistics for several leading Indian film personalities during their visits to Gulf countries. These reportedly included stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan and Aamir Khan.
Apart from providing close protection services, Moosa’s organisation reportedly specialised in large-event security coordination, crowd-control systems, movement planning, and emergency evacuation management for entertainment programmes and celebrity appearances.
The company later expanded operations beyond the UAE to countries including Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore, and India, gradually building a reputation in private security and event-management services.
Today, Nayeem Moosa is widely recognised among Vijay’s supporters and political observers as the Malayali security professional who remains closest to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister during almost every major public engagement — working largely behind the scenes while overseeing security operations around one of the state’s most closely watched political figures.
