Make this Diwali true 'd WAH li' by giving Rs 3,000 to common man :MPCC prez

Mumbai, Oct 6 (UNI) The Maharashtra unit of the Congress party on Thursday demanded that the state government should deposit Rs 3,000 as a 'Golden gift' into the bank account of every family for upcoming Diwali festival considering high rate of inflation.
In a letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, MPCC president Nana Patole said the state cabinet has decided to give one kg chana dal, sugar, semolina and one litre of palm oil from ration shops to the ration-card holders for Diwali festival for Rs 100.
This Diwali gift of the government is very meagre, he noted.
