Make geo-tagging of corona patients mandatory: Oppn leader

Thane, Jul 6 (UNI) Taking a serious view of the corona patients going missing from the hospitals in the city and other parts of the state, Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly Devendra Fadnavis on Monday demanded for geotagging of the patients admitted to any hospital.
Addressing a news conference here, he made this demand and termed the patients going missing as a serious matter, which needs to be probed by the administration, he said.
He further said that during his visit to the Global Hub of the Thane city, he received two complaints of the patients going missing from a hospital -- one was of a 71-year-old disabled man who was admitted to the hospital on June 29 -- and informed that his relatives were in the dark about the incident.
