Make Emergency Operation Centre functional by end of this fiscal:J&K Chief Secretary

Jammu, Dec 1 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo on Sunday impressed upon the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction to further gear up for making the action plans regarding different disasters the UT is vulnerable to.

Chairing a meeting to take an assessment of the measures taken for disaster mitigation in Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Secretary urged them to make the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) functional by the end of this fiscal as it has added a role at the time of disasters.
