Major IAS reshuffle in Himachal, key departments get new charge

Shimla, July 10 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh government on Friday ordered a major reshuffle in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre, transferring and assigning fresh responsibilities to 17 officers with immediate effect in the public interest.
As per a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, Additional Chief Secretary (Tribal Development) Onkar Chand Sharma has been given the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (Transport).
He will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Ropeways and Rapid Transport System Development Corporation Ltd.
