19 billion Mahindra Group, has launched its Jeeto Minivan, its stylish and comfortable passenger carrier developed on the successful Jeeto platform, here today. The Minivan is suitable for urban and semi urgan modes of transport and will cater to last mile connectivity, said Srinivas Aravapalli, Senior Vice-President and head-Product Development, Automotive Division, M and M, on the occasion. The company plans to launch semi-hard top diesel variant of the Jeeto Minivan and over the next couple of months, the Jeeto Minivan range will be completed with the launch of hard top CNG and diesel variants and the semi hard top CNG and petrol variants, he said. The Jeeto Minivan would be manufactured at its Zaheerabad plant in Telangana and its price starts at Rs 3.34 lakh ex-showroom (Hyderabad) for the BS IV diesel variant. It will be available in 3 attractive colours, he added. The minivan is powered by m-Dura, a direct injection (DI), BS-IV emission compliant engine. The company claims that the Jeeto offers a fuel efficiency of 26 km per litre. Tje Overall market share of the company in small commercial vehicle segment was 51 per cent, Mr Srinivas said. The Jeeto brand has set new benchmarks in innovation, performance, safety and comfort and the launch of the Jeeto Minivan will further extend the platform for last mile passenger transportation, he said.
