Mahindra and Mahindra launches electric rickshaw e-Alfa Mini in the city

Kolkata, Nov 20 (UNI) Mahindra and Mahindra today launched their electric rickshaw e-Alfa Mini in the city, which is specifically designed for pollution free last mile connectivity.
Earlier the company successfully launched their electronic hatchbacks e2O and e2O Plus and sedan like eVerito.
E-Alfa Mini is a complete 3 wheeler 5 seater solution for reducing the pollution in Indian condition.
In the launching ceremony company's commercial vehicles marketing vice-president Mahesh Kulkarni said, "We initially are targeting a sale of 10000 unit per month. I also think that as per National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) 2030 country will be more dependent on electric vehicles".
Mr Kulkarni also added that company also offering 'Mahindra ka Bharosa' scheme in which an end user have to pay a down payment of Rs 59000 and Rs 6800 as EMI. With this scheme they also are providing 1year of additional warranty and single time free battery replacement.
The other companies are providing a warranty of 6 months and they have no brand value like Mahindra, he added.
Mahindra e-Alfa Mini will run 85 kms on a full charge and it can be charged domestically in a 5 hours time duration. They also will provide fast service within 60 minutes to 4 hours of time.
After Delhi and Lucknow, Kolkata is the third city where Mahindra launched e-Alfa Mini. Now only
in their Haridwar workshop will manufacture the units exclusively.
E-Alfa Mini launched with an exclusive showroom price of 1.27 lacs for Kolkata.
