Mahesh Banks bags 'Technology bank of the Year' award

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (UNI) Hyderabad-based A.P. Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank Limited., a premier Co-operative Bank of South India, has bagged “Technology bank of the year’ award from the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA), Mumbai.

This is the largest and the most renowned banking technology innovation excellence award in the country, the bank said in a release here on Friday.

The IBA Banking Technology Innovation Awards are most sought after, and have set hitherto unmatched industry standards.

These awards are being given to recognize and reward individuals, professionals and banks, who have recorded noteworthy technology and business benefits in the previous year.

The selection of Mahesh Bank for this award was based on the various tehno-enabled initiatives and services introduced by the bank during the year.

The bank was selected “runner-up award” under the category of Co-operative Urban Banks, functioning in the Country.

The award was received by Bank Managing Director Umesh Chand Asawa, at a glittering function held recently at Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Asawa expressed happiness over the selection of the bank to this prestigious Award and said that the customers, shareholders and wellwisheres of the bank are the backbone of the success of the bank in reposing the confidence and patronizing the bank by using thetechno based services offered.

The bank have 45 network branches covering four states, he said the bank presently functioning on total CBS platform and offering Bharat BillPay and BHIM Mahesh Pay Services, RuPay Debit Card, Internet Banking , Direct RTGS and NEFT facility and POS services.
