Mahashivratri celebrated at historic Tarkeshwar Temple in Pune

Pune, Feb 15 ( UNI) Mahashivratri was celebrated on Sunday with great enthusiasm at the Pandava-era Shri Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Yerwada pune.
This Pandava-period Mahadev temple has received 'Grade C' status from the State Government and, being located in a scenic natural setting, attracted a large number of devotees for darshan. On this occasion, 18 tons of snacks (Mahaprasad) were distributed on behalf of Shiv Sena city organizer Anand Goyal, benefiting around 90,000 devotees.
The inauguration of this Mahaprasad distribution program was carried out by Senior Inspector Sangita Jadhav of the Yerwada Traffic Department and Jyoti Savardekar of the Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Cell.

Environmentalists urge PM Modi to reject move to weaken leopard protection
