Aurangabad, Jul 30 (UNI) Total 589 fresh COVID-19 cases and 22 fatalities were reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of fatalities reached 795 in these districts while total number of cases in the region mounted to 21,846 up to late Wednesday night.
While 14,497 were cured and already discharged, rest of the active cases are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and covid care centres in region.
The official data collected from all the district headquarters by UNI stated that Aurangabad district recorded highest 197 positive cases and seven fatalities followed by Osmanabad which witnessed eight deaths and 130 fresh cases, 40 cases and four deaths in Nanded, 102 cases in Latur, 41 cases and one death in Jalna, 13 cases and one death in Parbhani and eight cases and one death in Hingoli.
