Maharashtra govt. to implement activities for women's economic empowerment: Lodha

Mumbai,June 1 (UNI) The Maharashtra government intends to implement various activities for economic empowerment of women through promotion of natural agriculture, goat rearing, poultry training and animal power training, said Women and Child Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
He was speaking on the occasion of signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Mahila Economic Development Corporation and GIZ and the Maharashtra Pashu and Mastya Vigyan Vizpaeth at Nagpur at the Sahyadri Guest House for carrying out various activities for the development of women.

Indu Jakhar, General Manager (Projects) Kusum Balsaraf, (Mavim), Director Education Extension Dr. Anil Bhikane of Maharashtra University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Nagpur, Achim Fabig, GIZ Consul for Germany, Rajiv Ahal, Director of GIZ, Ranjit Jadhav, Jitendra Yadav, Omkar Shouche on this occasion were present.
