Maha: Youth drown during idol immersion

Nashik, Sep 28 (UNI) A 20-year-old youth, Raj Umesh Wagh from Pachore Vani village, drowned in the Netravati River in Niphad Taluka of the district on Wednesday evening.
Police sources said Raj and his friend had gone to the Netravati River for Ganesh idol immersion.
Unaware of the river's depth, Raj's leg slipped, and he fell, prompting calls for rescue. The other people were diligently calling to save him.
