Maha: State Information Commissioner Gurav calls for prompt RTI disposal

Nashik, Oct 10 (UNI) State Information Commissioner Bhupendra Gurav of the State Information Commission, Nashik, today asserted that applications filed under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005, must be disposed of promptly to ensure transparency and accountability in public affairs.
He stressed that mutual coordination among authorities is vital for the effective implementation of the law, which grants every citizen the right to seek information from public authorities.
Gurav was speaking at a seminar organised by the District Collectorate on the occasion of Right to Information Week at the Niyaz Bhavan.

Pune Nov 15 (UNI) While winter chill is knocking the door the environment at the Kharadi campus of Dhole Patil Education Society witnessed the rise in the temperature and energies resulting in the creation of an all new Guinness World Records, achievement for ‘Largest Audience at a Campfire storytelling’. 4,623 individuals including the students and their parents participated to set a new Guinness World Records feat while listening to the historical stories about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj alongside the specially created campfire at the record attempt venue.
