Maha: Pune-based social activist demands to start benefits of Pragati Yojana

Pune, Sep 10 (UNI) City-based social activist Anil Agawane on Tuesday criticised the BJP-led Mahayuti government for not passing on the benefits of assured progress scheme (Pragati Yojana) to non-teaching staff of colleges in Maharashtra and demanded to implement the same before upcoming state assembly election.
He asked Higher Education minister Chandrakantdada Patil to pay attention to this issue and give justice to these employees who have been in regular service for 10, 20, 30 years by starting the benefit of 'Ashwashit Pragati Yojana' (assured progress scheme) before the state assembly election.
"If government gives the benefits of the scheme on time, then the dissatisfaction among these employees can be removed," he expressed.
