Maha: Land surveyor among 2 trapped in ACB net in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Aug 13 (UNI) A land surveyor and a private agent were arrested on Tuesday by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from a complainant at Top village in Hatkanangale tehsil of the district.
Accused Tushar Sonvane (45), resident of neighbouring Sangli, who was working as land surveyor in Top village, had demanded Rs 8,000 as bribe from complainant for registering his name on ancestral land.
Later, the matter was settled at Rs 4,000 and he told complainant to give the bribe to private agent Amar Chaugule, a press release issued by ACB said.
