Maha Govt to take action against PFI: DyCM

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) Following the central government's ban on Popular Front of India, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Wednesday that the state government will also take action against PFI and its six affiliated organisations.
Speaking to the media, he said that the Kerala government was first to demand a ban on PFI and had approached the central government for the same.
"The central government banned it. States have also been empowered to do so," he asserted and said that no anti-social activities will be tolerated in the state as well.
