Maha: Govt sanctions Rs 80,000 cr for 125 irrigation projects

Kolhapur, Oct 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said on Wednesday that the government has sanctioned Rs 80,000 crore for 125 irrigation projects in the state.
Addressing a function of Dhamani irrigation project in this district, he assured that with this work, four TMC water would be available to thousands of farmers of this area.
Shinde said that the government has implemented many projects including Ladki Bahin yojana, Lakhpati didi, Yuva Karya Prashikshan, free electricity to farmers, for the welfare of the common people and farmers, he added.
