Maha Govt announces toll waiver for light motor vehicles entering Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct 14(UNI) In a major decision ahead of the assembly election, the Maharashtra government on Monday announced the complete toll waiver for light motor vehicles which are entering Mumbai at all the five toll booths.
The decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting and it will come into force from 12 am tonight.
This marks an end to the toll collection from light motor vehicles at the Dahisar, Mulund West (LBS Road), Vashi, Airoli and Mulund East toll booths.
