Maha government has to bow down in shame after hostel murder: Ajit Pawar

Mumbai, June 7 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Ajit Pawar on Wednesday attacked the government saying that a girl being tortured in a hostel in Mumbai is an incident where the government has to bow down in shame.
Interacting with reporters in the Vidhan Bhavan area, he said such incidents are continuously increasing.
Pawar's remarks came after the alleged murder of an 18-year-old girl at a women's hostel in Mumbai's Marine Drive. The absconding accused, a security guard at the same hostel, later is said to have committed suicide by jumping in front of a train.
