Maha :Frusted over power cut, 'angry young man' threatens to blow up Fadnavis' house in Nagpur

Nagpur, Mar 28 (UNI) Enraged by a power cut at his home, an angry Nagpur-based man allegedly threatened to blow up Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ Nagpur house in Maharashtra, a top police official told UNI.
The Nagpur police’s control room on Tuesday received a call around 2:00 am from a man claiming that a bomb had been planted outside Fadnavis’ house. However, the caller abruptly disconnected the call, said the police official. The police traced the caller to Kanhan town, around 30 km from the city and detained him.
"We traced the caller to his home in the Kanhan area of the city where he was staying in darkness due to a power cut," said the official. The official further informed that in a fit of anger, the 30-year-old man, who is facing power cut, allegedly made a hoax call that a bomb was planted at DCM Devendra Fadnavis' house to mislead the police.
