Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nov 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday criticised the Maha Vikas Aghadi comprising the Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and NCP (SP), saying they went to court to stop the Ladaki Bahin Yojana.
Addressing a public meeting at Bajrang Chowk of Cidco locality in city for BJP and Mahayuti's candidate Atul Save from Aurangabad East constituency, he said, "If you want to do vote jihad, you have to do a crusade of votes. This election is to show our unity."
This time, the slogan of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath 'Batenge to Katenge' was given once again.
He also attacked AIMIM chief Asaduddion Owaisi, warning that this is Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, not
Aurangabad and no one can change the name of Sambhajinagr.
"It was saffron yesterday, it is today, and it will be saffron tomorrow," he declared.
Speaking further, Fadnavis said that the government brought many big-ticket projects to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
"All major companies of the country were brought here. Henceforth, it will try to bring an investment of Rs one lakh crore in Sambhajinagar," he said.
He also informed that the excess rainwater flowing into the sea will be diverted to parched Marathwada.
Fadnavis listed out many welfare schemes introduced by the Mahayuti government such as Ladaki Bahin Yojana, free ST travel for women, free education for girls.
He promised to increase amount of Ladaki Bahin Yojana to Rs 2,100.
He also assured that a new sports university will be built in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
