Maha: Congress hits out at Mahayuti Govt on issue of 'hit and run'

Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) The Maharashtra Congress on Tuesday strongly came down on the BJP-led alliance government in the state on issue of 'hit and run' case involving BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son Sanket Bawankule and demanded to take action against him.
Speaking on this matter, MPCC chief spokesperson Atul Londhe alleged that under the BJP-alliance government, the ruling party MLAs, MPs and their relatives seem to have no fear of the law and claimed that they seemed to care less for the law and order in the state.
"BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son, Sanket Bawankule, allegedly hit multiple vehicles in Nagpur while driving a luxury car in an intoxicated state. However, no action has been taken against him yet," he said and demanded to know who is putting pressure on the police.
