Maha CM inaugurates divisional drama conference at Mahabaleshwar

Pune, Feb 24 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday inaugurated 100th Divisional Drama Conference organised by Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Natya Nagri in Mahabaleshwar.
Addressing the gathering, he said, "Maharashtra has a very glorious heritage of art and culture. The
government is committed to solving problems related to art and culture. Seventy-five theatres will be updated in the state to further strengthen the theatre culture. In this, 52 theatres will be imupdated and the remaining theatres will be constructed a new."

Pune, Apr 23 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Bihar, Telangana, Kerala and Mahe and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Assam and Meghalaya; at many places over Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, east Uttar Pradesh and coastal Karnataka. These were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Uttarakhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.8°C was reported at Cuddapah (Rayalaseema) and Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) over the country.
