Aurangabad/Mumbai, Oct 25 (UNI) State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister and Governor greeted people of state on the occasion of Dussehera.
Mr Uddhav Thackeray in his message stated that Vijayadashami is the motivation to overcome adversity, evil tendencies and appealed to the people of the state on the eve of Dussehra, urging them to unite and destroy the corona-poisoned Ravana.
The Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has appealed to all to celebrate this victory of knowledge over ignorance, justice over injustice, truth over untruth, victory of good over evil with joy, enthusiasm, following the rules of social distance and corona prevention.
While State governor Bhagatsingh Koshiyari in his message stated that,the festival of Vijayadashami symbolizes the victory of Satpravritti over evil.
Truth always triumphs, this belief is gained through this festival. Corona urges everyone to celebrate the festival safely against the backdrop of infection.
May this Vijayadashami bring happiness, peace, contentment and prosperity in everyone's life. "I wish you all a happy Vijayadashami," he added.
