Mah: Pair of leopards die after getting stuck in marsh

Nashik, Jan 18 (UNI) A pair of male and female leopards reportedly died here on Monday after getting stuck in the marshy area near the Godavari river basin.
As the incident came to light, a team led by Forest Range Officer Bashi Shikh rushed to the spot, recovered the carcasses and conducted a ‘panchnama’.
The autopsy of the big cats revealed that they died due to suffocation as silt entered their lungs.
