Aurangabad, Mar 8 (UNI) The eight districts of Marathwada region reported 1189 covid cases during the past 24 hours which is said to be the highest in recent days, health authorities informed on Monday.
The region also reported five more deaths due to coronavirus during the same period.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI shows that out of the eight districts of the region Aurangabad district, one of worst affected in the region recorded 426 cases and 3 deaths followed by Nanded with 229 new cases and single death, Jalna registered 219 new cases and single death, Beed recorded 122 cases, Latur registered 69 cases, Hingoli registered 55 new cases, Osmanabad 49 cases and Parbhani 20 cases.
