Mah: Latur to go under lockdown from Jul 15

Latur, Jul 13 (UNI) Maharashtra Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh on Monday announced that lockdown, starting from July 15, will be reimposed in this district in order to break the COVID-19 transmission chain.
Mr Deshmukh, who is also Latur Guardian Minister, stated that the influx of people here during the Unlock phase has led to the increase of Corona cases.
The lockdown will be in force till July 30, he apprised, adding that the Collector will release the guidelines in the same regard soon.
So far, Latur has tallied 682 cases, out of which, 361 are cured while 33 have died of the contagion.
