Mumbai, Jun 18 (UNI) On the second day of monsoon session, Maharashtra government on Tuesday presented a revenue deficit budget of Rs 20,292.94 crore as compared to the previous year's deficit of Rs 14,960.04 crore.
The budget was presented by Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar in the lower house while the State Minister Deepak Kaserkar presented it in the upper house or Legislative Council.
While presenting the additional budget, Mr Mungantiwar said the revenue receipts are estimated to be Rs 3,14,640.12 crore whereas the revenue expenditure is estimated at Rs 3,34,933.06 crore.
