Hingoli, Dec 4 (UNI) In an effort to increase the number of corona vaccinations percentage across in city, on the backdrop of threat from the new Omicorn Covid variant, Hingoli Municipal Council Chief Dr Ajay Kurwade announced a 'Bumper Vaccination Draw' prize scheme for the citizens who are vaccinated against the virus, officials said on Saturday.

Apart from the citizens taking both doses of the COVID vaccine, the winners will also get LED TV, fridge, washing machine and mixer grinder as prizes.

The scheme will be applicable to citizens who get vaccinated between December 2 and December 24, sources said.

Meanwhile, in Hingoli district,various measures are being taken by the district health administration to increase the number of corona vaccinations.

The district collector has also ordered that all government officials and employees should not be issued their salary unless they have submitted a certificate of vaccination.
