Mah: 83.8 pc polling recorded for 386 Gram Panchayats

Kolhapur, Jan 15 (UNI) Total 83.80 per cent voters exercised their democratic right in the district for general elections of 386 Gram Panchayats on Friday.
In a official statement here, the Maharashtra Election office declared final percentages of the district. Out of total 858557 voters, 719306, including 349733 females, decided the fate of 7675 candidates.
Meanwhile, 47 gram panchayat nominees in the district were elected as unopposed.
