Mah: 37 booked in misappropriation case

Kolhapur, Nov 13 (UNI) As many as 37 persons including chairman and board of directors, of Shivam co-operative bank have been booked for misappropriating of Rs 24.40 crore.
A complaint filed by the Chartered Accountant, Laxman Shankar Hargapure (45) said that the alleged accused made bogus document and distributed loans to Solapur Vasantrao Naik Sootgirni.
In audited accounts of Shivam bank, Mr Hargapure found that the chairman and other 36 persons opened a fake account in the name of Solapur based Vasantrao Naik Sooitgirni, using it's officical letterhead and made bogus documents and transferred a total of Rs 24,40,40,799 on its bogus loan account in March 2011 and Match 2018.
The prominents who are booked were as Abhijeet Madhavan Ghorpade(chairman), Prashant Babasaheb Chavan(CEO), Shivanand Shankar Nakate (manager) and others including director boards, employees.

Nanded (Maharashtra), Jan 19 (UNI) A teenaged girl was raped by her two teachers two months ago disclosed on Saturday, the police said
The victim was seventh class girl student of Shri Sai Baba Primary School at Shankar Nagar in Biloli tehsil of the district. Her two teachers Rasool Syed and Dayalu Rajule by showing her porn videos committed rape almost two months ago and threatened her mother, not to disclose the matter else she would face dire consequences.

Ministry mulling to spend Rs 5 lakh crore on infrastructure: Nitin Gadkari

Nagpur, Jan 19 (UNI) Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Sunday said his ministry has planned to spend Rs 5 lakh crore on infrastructure development in the financial year 2020.
Speaking at the inaugural function of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) here Mr Gadkari said, "We gave contracts worth Rs 17 lakh crore in the last five years. And this year we are planning to target to allot Rs 5 lakh crore on infrastructure development, Gadkari said, adding there is no dearth of money.
