LV Prasad, UNSW to launch masters course in community eye health

Hyderabad, Nov 12 (UNI) Hyderabad-based L V Prasad Eye Institute and the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, will launch a masters course in Community Eye Health (MCEH) programme here tomorrow.
The program aims at creating specialists who can asses eye care needs of rural and semi-urban population and influence delivery and policy in the field.
UNSW Vice Chancellor and President Prof Ian Jacobs will be the chief guest at the function.
After the function, L V Prasad Eye Institute will distribute free spectacles to underprivileged children.
