Lt Gen Arvind Dutta takes over command of Vajra Corps

Jalandhar, Nov 5 (UNI) Lt Gen Arvind Dutta took over as the General Officer Commanding of the prestigious Vajra Corps on Monday.
The General Officer was commissioned in the Indian Army, Dogra Regiment in June 1982 and is an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Army War College and National Defence College.
General Dutta has commanded an Infantry Battalion, a Mountain Brigade and a Counter Insurgency Force in J&K. He has served in diverse terrain, including Siachen Glacier and has held prestigious staff appointments at Indian Military Training Team, Bhutan and the Military Operations and Military Intelligence Directorates at the Army Headquarters.
