States » West » BYEPosted at: May 23 2019 6:40PM LS polls: BJP-Shiv Sena leading in 41 constituencies in MaharashtraMumbai, May 23 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its alliance partner Shiv Sena were leading in 41 out of 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharshtra. While BJP was leading in 23 constituencies, Shiv Sena was leading in 18. As far as Congress and its alliance partners were concerned, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) was leading at five seats, Congress at one and others at one. The Shiv Sena-BJP combine is leading in six divisions of Maharashtra. In Western Maharashtra BJP is leading at five seats, Shiv Sena three, NCP three and Congress none.
