Low pressure in Bay of Bengal to bring more rains in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh

Visakhapatnam, Oct 6 (UNI) Another low pressure is brewing up over North Bay of Bengal and neighborhood during the next 24 hours. The system is likely to trigger more rains over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.
According to Cyclone Warning Centre (CWC) officials here this evening said under the influence of active Southwest Monsoon over Andhra Pradesh, heavy rain occurred at isolated places over Chittoor and Kadapa districts of Rayalaseema and Prakasam district of Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last 12 hours.

The bay conditions are very likely to form a low pressure, according to the CWC officials. As predicted earlier, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places over the state during the next 12 hours.

Most parts of Andhra Pradesh have been witnessing good rain and thundershowers since past last two days. the weather condition remained the same in the last 24 hours as well and many places recorded moderate to heavy intensity showers.

However, thunderstorm associated with heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari and Nellore of coastal Andhra Pradesh.
