Low pressure area likely to develop in SE Bay of Bengal in next 48 hrs

Hyderabad, Jan 5 (UNI) A fresh trough of low at mean sea level lying over South Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal with embed upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 3.1 km above mean sea level.
Under its influence a low pressure is area likely to develop over southeast Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Department said in a bulletin here on Friday.
The trough of low at mean sea level in southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked, the bulletin added.
