Louis Marandi asks officials to ensure benefits of scheme reach to people

Ranchi, Jun 19 (UNI) State's Women and Child Development and Welfare Minister Louis Marandi today said the state government was running various schemes for the welfare of the poor and it was the responsibility of the officials that not only they should remain sensitive in ensuring implementation of the schemes but should make sure that the poor are able to get their real benefits.
Chairing a review meeting over the functioning of her department, she said that work should be done in a proper manner so the time bound benefits of schemes reach to the people.
The minister also directed to release the funds for children home so that there is no problem in the care of the children and directed that work on war footing should be held in this direction and instructed officers to visit the children home and warned in case of negligence under the provisions of Juvenile justice act action would be taken against irresponsible officials.
