Lot of pain was taken in selecting best films: Major Ravi

Panaji, Nov 22 (UNI) Film maker, actor and member of Jury, Indian Panorama (Feature), of the 49th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) Major Ravi has said that the jury members have taken a lot of pain in selecting the best films made in the country and have ensured that the Indian Panorama section presents a pan-Indian movie experience to the viewers.
He was addressing a press conference during the 49th International Film Festival of India (IFF) here on Wednesday in the presence of other members of the Jury and the Chairman Rahul Rawail.
Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Director General and another member of Feature Film Jury, K G Suresh, said all jury members were satisfied with the selection of movies in Indian panorama section and that it was a very democratic exercise, while there were heated debates between the members on topics ranging from cinematography to acting.
