Mumbai, May 28 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly, Vijay Wadettiwar, on Tuesday strongly criticised the state government over issue of seeds that are being distributed to farmers in the state, alleging that farmers are being misled on seeds.
Taking to social media X (formerly Twitter), he tweeted that due to mismanagement of administration, hundreds of farmers have to stand in queues for hours in scorching sun for seeds.
While farmers are scrambling for cotton seeds, there is a shortage of seeds in the market that farmers want, he said and informed that only two packets are being given to each farmer citing shortage.
