Longowal censures ban on langar in gurdwaras, asks govt to rethink

Amritsar, Jun 6 (UNI) Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee chief Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal on Saturday expressed his displeasure over the denial of the langar and Prasad in the guidelines issued by the government on opening of religious places from June 8 and demanded to reconsider it.
Brother Longowal said langar and kadah prasad is an important part of Gurudwara Saheb's dignity, which is not justified.
He said during the coronavirus from the Gurugars, there has also been an anchor service for the needy. This service continued according to the instructions of the government and health department, but now the guidelines issued by the government are saying that they be discontinued.
