Lokayukta dismisses misappropriation fund charges against Siddaramaiah, K George

Bengaluru, Jun 5 (UNI) The Karnataka Lokayukta on Friday dismissed a complaint filed against former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and former Minister K J George on alleged charges of misappropriation of funds during the construction of Indira Canteens in the city and supply of food to these canteens.
Complainant Ganesh Singh had accused Mr Siddaramaiah, Mr George and IFS officer Ranjan, of creating false invoices in connection with the consumption of food at Indira Canteens in Bengaluru.
As the complainant failed to produce supporting evidence for his charges, Lokayukta Justice Vishwanath Shetty dismissed the complaint against the Congress leaders.
