New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) A program to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri will be organised by the Lok Sabha secretariat on Sunday, which will see the participation of 99 youth from across the country.
As part of the programme, 99 young participants have been selected from schools and colleges from 28 states and two union territories across the country. The selection has been done by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, through various types of competitions.
All the participants will pay floral tributes to the national leaders in the Central Hall of Parliament, and out of them, 30 selected participants will be provided a platform to speak about the contributions of our national leaders in the development of the country and will reiterate the principles and ideals of their lives.
