New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) The Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 1200 hrs on Tuesday after the Opposition created a ruckus over the issue of the fuel price hike in the country.
As soon as the House assembled at 1100 hrs, Opposition Members raised slogans against the rising
fuel prices and rushed to the Well of the House.
Question on norms for procurement of foodgrains was taken up during the Question Hour, however,
uproar by the Opposition members continued, forcing Speaker Om Birla to adjourn the House till 1200 hrs.
On Monday, the proceedings were adjourned for the day after the Opposition created a ruckus over the same issue.
