Lok Adalat in Anantnag on Dec 22

Anantnag, Dec 14 (UNI) A Lok Adalat is being organised at Bijbehara in this south Kashmir district on December 22 to settle cases of different nature among the litigants, an official spokesman said here on Friday evening.
He said a Lok Adalat will be held in the premises of the Court of Sub Judge-Electricity Magistrate, Bijbehara on December 22 to settle cases pending under section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, Criminal cases.Cases of compoundable nature, electricity, civil and family disputes will be taken up.
All the litigants concerned who are interested to settle their disputes in the proposed Lok-Adalat are informed to approach the office of the Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Bijbehara before the scheduled date, he said , adding the adalat will start from 1030 hrs.
