Puducherry, Sep 22 (UNI) The Local Body Election in the Union Territory will be held in three phases on October 21, October 25 and October 28, State Election Commissioner Roy P Thomas said on Wednesday.
Talking to news persons here, he said that in the first phase, election will be held for Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam Municipalities, Kottucherry, Neravy, Nedumgadu,Thirumalairayanpatinam and Thirunallar Commune Panchayats.
Mr Thomas said Election to Puducherry and Oulgaret Municipalities will be held in the second phase and in the third phase, Ariyankauppam, Bahour, Mannadipet, Nettapakkam and Villianur Commune Panchayats will go to the poll.
